The Tryall Fund affords an opportunity for homeowners, visitors and their families to volunteer at our model Basic School in Sandy Bay. The volunteers interact with the 3-5 year olds and their teachers in an organized program that includes reading to individuals and small groups, activities at student’s desks and playing outside on the field. Some families bring supplies when they visit the school and others collect books and toys when they return home and send their contributions. These visits are a wonderful interaction between visitors and Jamaican children. They have lasting positive effects on everyone involved.

We have had homeowners participating in renovations to Sandy Bay Community Basic School, athletes teaching soccer and students working on their service hours. Volunteers have also accompanied the Dental Mission to calm nervous patients and help with the paper work. How you can be involved: Lending time, reading to a child, investing in the Tryall Fund, serving on a committee, donating, giving for the future.
