Alice Needle

Alice Needle holds Master’s degrees in Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture and has a long history of community leadership. She served on the Board and as Treasurer of an organization focused on community activism and childhood issues, and as President of a PTA, she conceived, organized, and implemented a full-day kindergarten program that was later adopted across the district.

Mrs. Needle joined the Tryall Fund Board in 2009, where she helped develop and now oversees the Basic School Initiative. She co-chaired the Scholarship Committee from 2009 to 2011 and continues to serve on it. She has also co-chaired the annual “Taste of Tryall,” playing a key role in organizing this signature event. Elected President of the Tryall Fund in 2013, Alice continues her tireless work to expand the Fund’s scope and impact, championing education and community development across Hanover.
